Our two-day courses follow a similar pattern to the one-day courses - a mix of demonstrations and practical, hands-on cookery and a sociable lunch enjoying the dishes you’ve produced (with a glass or two of wine, of course).
Residential courses include 2 nights bed and breakfast at The Seafood Restaurant or St Petroc’s Hotel together with evening meals and selected wine. (£ 165 dining supplement for partners.)
Travelling through South West France at a leisurely pace by barge for my ‘French Odyssey’ TV series was the perfect way to discover the food of this region. The fish, shellfish and meat dishes you’ll be cooking on this course are some of the dishes that I found on my way. You’ll also spend an afternoon learning how to create a selection of desserts, which we often bought from patisseries in the region. This will be taken by our pastry chef, Stuart Pate.
