Our two-day courses follow a similar pattern to the one-day courses - a mix of demonstrations and practical, hands-on cookery and a sociable lunch enjoying the dishes you’ve produced (with a glass or two of wine, of course).
Residential courses include 2 nights bed and breakfast at The Seafood Restaurant or St Petroc’s Hotel together with evening meals and selected wine. (£ 165 dining supplement for partners.)
The question, before I set out to write the cookery book and make the TV series was this; what is so special about Mediterranean cooking? The answer was Mediterranean Escapes. It was all to do with a few brilliant ingredients, which reflect the sun, sea and countryside, a sense of tradition and a respect for simplicity and frugality. Many of my favourite dishes are either authentic recipes from this part of the world, or are heavily inspired by my travels. This course is an entertaining two-day exploration of the ingredients and techniques of Mediterranean cookery.
