For those who've never cooked with fish or for seafood enthusiasts alike, this course teaches you the techniques you'll need in order to create really impressive fish dishes. Using the freshest fish that is often landed right here on our doorstep, we'll show you how to choose good fish and how to make the very best of it in the kitchen.
Our half-day cookery courses at Padstow Seafood School start with a tea or coffee upon arrival. The session follows a similar format to that of our one day courses, although two dishes less. Three dishes will be demonstrated, two of which are practical based. Cooking takes approximately 2 ½ hours and all of the tuition is provided in a relaxed informal atmosphere by our school chefs. Each attendee is given a recipe folder of the dishes they are preparing to use and take home.

- Seared scallops with Ibérico ham
- Braised ling with lettuce, peas and crisp smoked pancetta
- Seafood paella (demo)
