Rick Stein’s new fish restaurant in Falmouth
Rick Stein's Fish and Chips will open on Discovery Quay in Falmouth on Friday 19th March at 5pm.
The 130 seat restaurant, takeaway and oyster bar will have a menu similar to our fish and chip restaurant on the quayside in Padstow.

Rick Stein's Fish and Chips in Falmouth will be the first venture away from the Padstow area. "We signed the lease in December" said Rick, adding that they have already commenced renovations to the building. These will include the complete overhaul of the old shop interior to create the open plan kitchen and restaurant, along with a take away, all in the same design as Stein's Fish and Chips in Padstow. The existing mezzanine floor will be transformed into an oyster bar, serving fresh River Fal oysters, selected wines and champagne.

The inspiration for the flagship Seafood Restaurant originally came from a restaurant in Falmouth that Rick and Jill frequented during the 1970's. "It's great to be finally opening in Falmouth. Outside Padstow it's my favourite seaside town in Cornwall. No wonder we've opened an oyster bar. I want to celebrate fabulous Fal Oysters."
The new restaurant will employ approximately 30 staff including chefs and front of house roles at the new restaurant. All vacancies are listed on www.rickstein.com/careers.
