Restaurant and takeaway
At Rick Stein’s Fish we have a large restaurant overlooking Events Square and a takeaway allowing you to enjoy your fish and chips overlooking Falmouth harbour.
Classic fish and chips
Classic fish and chips are at the heart of the menu, with cod and haddock together with a variety of local fish like hake, monkfish and John Dory. As well as traditional fish and chips, our takeaway offers grilled hamburgers, tiger prawns, fish chilli burgers, mussels and more.
Paul Harwood
Head chef, Paul Harwood creates some of Rick’s favourite seafood dishes such as grilled sea bream fillets, moules marinière, grilled lobster, shucked oysters and choices from our daily specials board.
Grilled and gluten free options
Our fish is coated in our homemade batter and deep fried in beef dripping to make it really crisp. We also have grilled fish and gluten free batter, perfect for those looking for a less indulgent treat.
Homemade accompaniments
We serve our own chips, mushy peas and curry sauce as well as our homemade mayonnaise-based tartare sauce.
Nice wines and good beers
You’ll find cups of tea and chip butties, of course, but also some nice wines and good beers, particularly our own, Chalky's Bite and Chalky's Bark, brewed by Sharp's Brewery in Rock. Or for that extra special treat you can enjoy some English fizz, perfectly complementing our classic fish and chips.
Family friendly
The light and airy restaurant is relaxed, informal and family friendly - perfect for enjoying this British favourite. We have activity sheets to keep the children entertained as well as high chairs, a children's menu and baby changing.

Are you over the age of 60? If so you can enjoy our ‘Vintage Lunches’ every Tuesday and get fish and chips, served with mushy peas and tartare sauce for £4.95. Available for lunch in the restaurant on every Tuesday until 25th July.
