There’s nothing like a garden full of spring flowers to lift your spirits and here in Cornwall, we’re lucky enough to have a diverse range of botanically rich gardens. If you love plants, you’ll find them in abundance, from small wild flowers to the some of the largest trees in Britain.

We’ve chosen our five favourite gardens for you to visit, so take a walk, relax and escape life’s everyday pressures. We can think of nowhere more tranquil to be.

Caerhays Castle Gardens

The Lost Gardens of Heligan

The mysterious gardens and estate offer over 200 acres for exploration. Think Victorian productive gardens, an exotic outdoor jungle and ancient broadleaved woodlands. This place is also a foodie haven, estate reared beef, pork and lamb with over 200 varieties of fruit & vegetables are delivered to Heligan Kitchen every day for you to enjoy. The Eden Project

Famous for having the world’s largest greenhouses (Biomes), The Eden Project is located in a giant 50 metre deep crater the size of 30 football pitches (previously a clay pit). The biomes (Mediterranean & Tropical) house thousands of plant species from around the world. There is always something new to see and it’s a great place to visit come rain or shine. A historic private estate boasting royal connections and an astonishing variety of rare species, this really is a rare and unique Cornish gem. Lanhydrock

Part of The National Trust and famed for its Victorian country house, the Lanhydrock estate is set in 1000 acres of wooded parkland and is encircled by extensive gardens.
