On 21st and 22nd March, we will host our fourth annual Beer and Mussel Festival at The Cornish Arms. Here’s our full line up of events for the weekend:
Saturday 21st March:
11:30 | Book signing by Rick Stein
12:30 | Cookery demo with Jack Stein & Italy vs. Wales
1pm- 5pm | Children’s corner
2:30pm | Scotland vs. Ireland
5pm | England vs. France
8pm -10:30pm | England vs. France
10:30pm -late | Taz DJay
Sunday 22nd March
1pm -5pm| Children’s Corner
2pm | The Stowes
4:30pm | Boscastle Buoys
6pm – 8pm | The big charity pub quiz
8pm | Acoustic set by Guy James
You can enjoy over 30 different beers and ciders from St. Austell Brewery and Sharp’s Brewery, including an exclusive festival beer. Alongside these, mussel dishes such as moules mariniere and mussel masala with coconut, ginger and green chillies will be freshly cooked.
Alex Clark, head chef at The Cornish Arms, commented: “We are really excited to be holding our fourth festival in St. Merryn. It’s a great family day filled with local entertainment, fantastic varieties of beer and food cooked by some of Rick’s top chefs.”
