This year, we have asked some of our chefs for their top tips in the kitchen – Mark Puckey, head chef lecturer at Padstow Seafood School, has given us his secret recipe for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.

“Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are a great breakfast treat on Christmas morning.

Lightly mix your eggs with a fork and season, melt a little butter in a pan and gently fold the eggs over a low heat.

When the eggs are almost cooked add a little Cornish clotted cream for an extra special touch. Perfect.”

 

Don’t forget you can get delicious smoked salmon from Stein’s Deli as well as crab, lobster, turkey and plenty of delicious trimmings such as bread and butter pickle.
