Enjoy some more top Christmas tips- these are from our head chef of The Cornish Arms in St. Merryn, to help give your Christmas dinner the edge this year.

Christmas Turkey:

Make sure you have got your turkey or Christmas meat to room temperature the whole way through before you put it in the oven, this way you can ensure even cooking and a really succulent main course.

A not so well known tip is that adding a small amount of mace to your stuffing will really bring out the flavour of the turkey when it’s served alongside it, but be careful as too much can be overpowering.
