Where to dine al fresco with Rick Stein’s

6th Jun 2018

When the sun is shining there’s something extra special about dining in the open air. Sunglasses on and a cold drink in hand, sit back and enjoy great conversation over light bites from our menus.

Here’s eight Rick Stein locations where you can dine al fresco this summer:

St Petroc’s Bistro secret garden

When the harbour and main shopping streets in Padstow are super busy, escape to our secret garden at St Petroc’s Bistro for some rest and relaxation. Choose from the full menu which includes light summer salads, great quality steaks and moreish puds. If it’s warm in the evening maybe treat yourself to a cocktail or two in Ruby’s Bar.

Rick Stein’s Café courtyard

A lovely little hideaway in the heart of Padstow, perfect for a meal (open for breakfast, coffee & cake, lunch and dinner) with your family and bring your pooch along too as this space is dog friendly.

The Seafood Restaurant terrace

With views over the Camel Estuary the terrace at The Seafood Restaurant is rather special. We’ve put together a special menu for the terrace that features the freshest seafood for you to enjoy, including lobster salad, langoustines on ice and Porthilly oysters too.

Stein’s Fish & Chips outdoor seating

No trip to Padstow is complete without fish & chips, right? Grab a takeaway and enjoy the summer sun on our outdoor benches. Just be careful to avoid the greedy local seagulls, and please don’t be tempted to feed them.

The Cornish Arms beer garden

English summer and beer gardens work together perfectly (unless it’s raining…). Anyway, if you like the sound of a pint or two of St Austell beer or maybe a Rattler with views over the North Cornwall countryside join us at The Cornish Arms in St Merryn this summer.

Rick Stein, Fistral terrace (and beach)

Being by the sea in Cornwall is always lovely, but in summer it’s a must. Stop by our beachside restaurant and takeaway at the famous Fistral beach to enjoy classic fish & chips, curries inspired by Rick’s Asian adventures, cocktails from the bar and much more. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rick Stein, Porthleven terrace

Our terrace in Porthleven is a real suntrap, which just so happens to benefit from unbeatable views over the harbour. On the menu there’s something for everyone, including light seafood dishes, sharing board, set menus and dishes suited to a more leisurely long lunch with a glass of wine or two.

Rick Stein, Barnes courtyard

If you’re in London and want to escape the busy city centre, hop on the overground to Barnes and while away an afternoon in our courtyard. Choose from the full a la carte menu and trying one of our exclusive cocktails by the award-winning bartender, Mr Lyan, is a must.

We hope to welcome you for an al fresco meal or drinks this summer.
