About The Cornish Arms

The Cornish Arms is a proper pub loved by locals and holidaymakers alike with great beer on tap from St Austell Brewery and homely pub classics on the menu – cooked by Head Chef Ash and our kitchen team. Firm favourites include local sausages and mash, scampi in the basket and Cornish moules frites.

Waiter / Waitress Jobs (Seasonal Summer)

Waiters and waitresses are warm, friendly and welcoming. Your interaction with our guests can be make or break a business so we'll always equip you with tools to be the best waiter or waitress you can. Our front of house team take orders, serve food and drinks, chat to guests and make recommendations.

Our seasonal staff are crucial members of the team to help us during our busy summer season.

What do I get paid?

You'll be paid a starting wage of £9.60 per hour (£9.30 for under 18s), plus tips of £560 per month on average.


Waiter / Waitress Jobs

Waiters and waitresses are warm, friendly and welcoming. Supervisor roles are great next step for senior waiters and waitresses and prepare you for development to restaurant manager.

You'll be paid a starting wage of £10.20 per hour, plus tips of £600 per month on average.


Assistant Manager Job (Maternity Cover)

Assistant managers help support and lead our team and head up the front of house and kitchen management team when it's the restaurant manager's day off.

They support the face of our business within the local community by building business contacts and through involvement in local community and charity activities.

What do I get paid?

You'll be paid a starting salary of £26,500, plus tips of £780 per month on average.
