Restaurant Manager at Stein's Fish and Chips
Alison, our restaurant manager at Stein’s Fish & Chips in Padstow takes great pride in being part of the local community. From working with AgeUK to put on lunches for elderly people in the area to helping nurture younger members of the team along their journey into hospitality, she’s very much the mother of the family at our fish and chip shop.
Originally from over the border in St Merryn, but we didn’t tell you that, she married a Padstownian, who operates one of the speed boats in the estuary and has four children and seven grandchildren who are all close by. Alison worked in our rooms team before making the change to working front of house and has never looked back – her welcoming personality and ever-present smile were made for the role. Making people happy with great food and service is what she does best and we’re very lucky to have her as a manager.
When she’s not in the restaurant, she loves spending time with her family and walking Ralph the dog on nearby beaches, Tregirls being a personal favourite.
