‘I spend a couple of months each year Down Under and am always touched by how much Australians love the idea of Christmas in England. They think of cosy warm pubs, twinkling Christmas lights, shops full of Christmas fayre and above all a week or two of indulgence in lovely food and wine. A time too, they say, for catching up with people in an atmosphere imbued with heartfelt celebration during the dark days of winter. It makes me all the more look forward to thoughts of lively parties in our restaurants in Cornwall, Winchester, Sandbanks, Marlborough or Barnes, Christmas shopping in Padstow and taking advantage of our two day stays in our lovely bedrooms.’

 

Join us in Winchester, Sandbanks, Marlborough and Barnes to enjoy our special festive menu – available for both lunch and dinner. Expect a menu full of Rick and Jack Stein’s seasonal dishes, including squid with deep fried brussel sprouts, kale and chestnuts and Cornish hake casserole, wild mushrooms and baby onions.
