Our one dish evening workshops are the perfect way to spend an evening in Padstow. Watch our chefs demonstrate how to cook one of Rick’s favourite dishes and then develop your own cookery skills and techniques whilst you recreate the dish. You’ll then get to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of good wine whilst overlooking the beautiful Camel Estuary.

Char-grilled beef tacos with spring onions, guacamole and salsa

Discovered by Rick in Oaxaca, Mexico, this dish is a real winner for a casual dinner party with friends and family. As well making your own corn tortillas you’ll discover Rick’s recipes for the most moreish guacamole and tangy red salsa, that work perfectly with the thinly sliced char-grilled rump of beef.

Course overview


Arrive – 6.15pm
From 6.30pm – Watch our chefs demo the dish then recreate at your workstation
8pm – Enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine at our ‘en famille’ dining table overlooking the Camel Estuary
8.30pm – The evening draws to a close at 8pm. You’ll leave with recipe cards and an exclusive voucher to use at our deli so you can try re-creating the dish at home.
