Cheffy sole à la meunière one dish workshop at Rick Stein’s Cookery School.

Rick discovered this recipe in Bordeaux during his Long Weekends series. Similar, to a classic from The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Dover sole is pan-fried and paired with a beurre noisette – the difference comes in the accompaniments of girolle mushrooms and chestnuts.

Our one dish evening workshops are the perfect way to spend an evening in Padstow. Watch our chefs demonstrate how to cook one of Rick’s favourite dishes and then develop your own cookery skills and techniques whilst you recreate the dish. You’ll then get to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of good wine whilst overlooking the beautiful Camel Estuary.

Course overview

Arrive – 5.45pm
From 6.00pm – Watch our chefs demo the dish then recreate at your workstation
7.30pm – Enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine at our ‘en famille’ dining table overlooking the Camel Estuary
8.00pm – The evening draws to a close at 8pm. You’ll leave with recipe cards and an exclusive voucher to use at our deli so you can try re-creating the dish at home.
