Sauvignon Blanc, Touraine, Domaine du Fraisse, Loire, France 2016
Textbook Loire Sauvignon Blanc from the Touraine area. Fresh and dry with cut grass and gooseberry fruit.
Thai mackerel salad with bone marrow
Sauvignon Blanc, Snapper Rock, Marlborough, New Zealand 2016
A typical Sauvignon from the South Island’s Marlborough region. Much fuller than the Touraine and jam-packed with more tropical mango and melon fruit.
Vouvray, Domaine Boutet Saulnier, Loire, France 2015
Dry Vouvray, from a tiny estate on the banks of the Loire river. Light-bodied with yuzu, pear and quince fruit and focused lightning-like acidity.
Chenin Blanc, ‘Secateurs’ AA Badenhorst, South Africa 2015
This Chenin Blanc is rich, ripe and tropical but also has a good vein of freshness to keep it all balanced beautifully.
Miss Muffets cheese and Truffle
Muscat Cambells Rutherglen, Australia
Made in North East Victoria, this is sumptuous and dark.
Rice pudding with spiced pineapple and passion fruit
Domaine de Grange Neuve Monbazillac, France
A fab pud wine from Bergerac, every bit as delicious as a Sauternes but slightly lighter in body.
