Boat Race set menu at Rick Stein, Barnes – Sunday 7th April – £75
Enjoy Rick’s tried and tested seafood classic whilst enjoying fab views of one of the most famous events in the sporting calendar – The Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race 2019. Head Chef, Ian Salmon has put together a special three course set menu which is available for tables booked between 12noon – 2pm on Sunday 7th April – ahead of the women’s race starting at 2.15pm and men’s at 3.15pm.

A £30 per person deposit will be required when booking. This is refundable if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the Boat Race.
Sample menu – Three courses – £75
Fish and shellfish soup with rouille, Parmesan and croutons. Flavoured with tomato, saffron, garlic, red peppers, fennel and a pinch of cayenne
Scallops with bacon succotash
Salt and pepper prawns with cucumber, spinach and a soy and sesame dressing
Cornish hake and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce
Steamed sea bass with soy and ginger
Indonesian curry. Sea bass, cod and prawns served with pilau rice and a green bean salad with garlic and chilli
14oz sirloin on the bone with a bitter leaf salad and thin cut chips
Passion fruit pavlova with Chantilly cream
Sticky toffee with clotted cream
