Join us this January at The Seafood Restaurant to support our charity lunches raising money for a great Cornish charity: Children’s Hospice South West.

Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) will be celebrating its 25th year as a charity in 2016 and throughout the year will be raising awareness of the work it does in order to secure the future of the charity for the next 25 years. They provide care and support to children with life limiting or life threatening illnesses through its three children’s hospices in the south west including Little Harbour in St Austell, providing care and support for the whole family, helping them to make the most of short and precious lives.

Enjoy a three-course lunch for £19 with a £2.50 cover charge donated directly to the Children’s Hospice South West between Tuesday 12th January – Friday 12th February 2016.

First Courses 

Fish and Shellfish Soup with Rouille and Parmesan.

Japanese Fish Cakes with Salmon and Herring
With watercress, soy and sesame oil dressing.

Amritsari Fish with Green Tomato Chutney.
Deep fried fish in a batter of chickpea flour, garlic and ginger sprinkled with chat masala. When I first tasted this I knew it had to go on at The Seafood Restaurant.

Main Courses

Chettinad Masala Fish Curry.
A combination of cod, coconut and tamarind with curry leaves, tomatoes, chilli and spices from the Coromandel coast of India.

Fillet of Hake Alla Carlina, with Tomatoes, Capers, Gherkins and Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Served with minted Cornish potatoes.

Fillets of Plaice Piperade.
With peppers, Serrano ham, onion, garlic, tomato and an olive oil and lemon sabayon. Served with minted Cornish potatoes.


Seville Orange Tart with Lemon Yoghurt Sorbet.
Tiramisu with Coffee Sauce
Chocolate Steam Pudding with Chocolate Sauce and Cream.
