Join us at Rick Stein, Winchester for a series of signature dish evenings. Watch our head chef recreate one of Rick’s classic dishes, discovering hints and tips to make your life easier in the kitchen, before enjoying the dish with a glass of wine in a communal dining experience.

Watch our head chef recreate hake with lettuce and peas and crisp smoked pancetta, before enjoying the dish with a glass of wine.

Signature Dish evenings include a chef demonstration, two glasses of wine, and the main course dish. Guests are also welcome to stay after the main course to enjoy dessert, drinks or coffee, which will be charged for separately on the evening.

Learn how to prepare, pick and cook crab and watch our head chef recreate Rick’s crab linguine from Coast to Coast, before enjoying the dish with a glass of wine.

Meet our Head Chef, Chris Baker

Introducing the man in charge of our kitchen, Chris Baker. After graduating catering college, he started his career in London at Gary Rhodes’ Michelin starred, City Rhodes restaurant – this gave him a real insight and understanding of great food.  He then spent six years working with Richard Corrigan across his three restaurants, including a year at former AA Restaurant of the year, Corrigans in Mayfair. This experience took Chris onto Head Chef positions at two seafood restaurants before he joined us in 2016. Always leading from the front, his passion and drive to strive for perfection on the plate is a joy to watch in our open kitchen.
