We have some fantastic brewers in Cornwall that we have been proudly listing at our restaurants for many years. I’ve put together a selection of 12 of my favourites from all over the county. – Charlie Stein
2 x Doom Bar Amber Ale, Sharps, Rock, Cornwall (500ml)
It needs no introduction, Doom bar is the most recognised Cornish beer on the planet, and rightly so it’s consistently delicious,
2 x Baobab, Wheat beer, St Austell, Cornwall (330ml)
A delicious wheat beer that we match with our dishes with a little bit more spice on the menus. A collaboration between family-owned St Austel ales and the brilliant Eden Project.
2 x Chalky’s Bite, Sharps, Rock, Cornwall (330ml)
This brew was created with Rick and Sharp’s Brewery and has become a true classic which we serve in all our restaurants. Matured for three months for a high level of carbonation, and with a delicate herbal flavour, treat yourself to a dozen or send as a thoughtful gift for the beer lover in your life.
2 x Harbour Cornish Helles Lager, Cornwall (330ml)
I’m a huge fan of Harbour brewery, Eddie and his team make some of the counties best small-batch beers. This is a proper well-made lager, super refreshing and crisp! Great with a curry.
2 x Harbour Indian Pale Ale, Cornwall (500ml)
IPA with lovely citrus and jam-packed with new world hops;
2 x Skinner’s Porthleven Pale Ale (500ml)
A modern Pale Ale made with fresh Cornish water and aromatic American hops, bringing freshness and a lick of tropical fruit.
