This beautiful ceramic design, inspired by the land and seascape of Cornish coves, was the winning entry in a competition Rick Stein launched to final year design students at Falmouth University, Cornwall to create his new tabletop collection.
Coves from north Cornwall have been hand-painted in watercolour showing the depth and colour variations in the sea. The clean design and form of bone china complements the subtly changing shades of each cove resulting in a unique and highly collectible range of coastal tableware.
This platter features Trevone Bay and comes gift boxed. Rick’s memory of Trevone Bay:
“Scene of a little barbecue of Cornish sardines watched avidly by Chalky, my late and much lamented Jack Russell.”
The diameter of the platter is 32cm. Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 200 degrees.
