This coconut prawn curry, featured on our set menu in Falmouth, is a firm favourite with our regulars.

While traveling through India on his search for the perfect curry, Rick discovered this recipe at Kewpie’s kitchen restaurant in Calcutta. Known for being one of Rakhi Dasgupta’s famous signature dishes, Rick knew as soon as he tried this curry that it would go straight into his top ten.

Dominic Gill, our Head Chef at Rick Stein’s Fish in Falmouth, says:

“The dish is delicately spiced with a lovely contrast between soft and sweet onion, creamy coconut and succulent prawns. We originally just put the dish on as a special but it soon became a firm favourite and we’ve kept it on the menu ever since.”
