Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in London
Fresh seafood by the Thames in Barnes
Just along the Thames from Richmond, our Barnes seafood restaurant brings together the relaxed feel of Cornwall with one of South West London’s most peaceful riverside settings. Whether you’re joining us for a leisurely lunch, seafood after a walk along the river, or dinner with friends, you’ll find an ever-changing menu that celebrates the freshest fish, shellfish and seasonal produce we can get our hands on.
From oysters and small plates to daily fish specials and Rick’s classic dishes, everything is simply cooked and served with the warm welcome that’s at the heart of everything we do. Settle in, watch the rowers pass by and enjoy a relaxed meal by the river, whether it’s your first visit or somewhere you return to time and again.
The restaurant is in good hands with General Manager Luca. Growing up on Ischia, a small island in the Bay of Naples, he spent his childhood fishing with his family and learning just how good seafood can be when it’s fresh from the water. That love of simple, honest cooking and genuine hospitality shapes every service in Barnes today.

Forgotten Fish Fridays
Fish & Chips £22
There are few pleasures more comforting than fish and chips on a Friday. But while most of us reach for cod or haddock, our waters are home to many other wonderful fish that are just as delicious. This summer, we’re celebrating some of the unsung heroes of the sea with Forgotten Fish Fridays.
Every Friday throughout June and July, we’ll swap our usual cod for a seasonal catch of the day. Each fish will be chosen according to what’s looking its best, then simply battered and fried, served with chips, mushy peas, curry sauce and tartare sauce.
Every Friday during June & July
£22 including a £1 donation to Fishermen’s Mission
